The Power Systems Engineer I will develop and conduct modeling and analysis for transmission and distribution studies. He/she will contribute to system design studies, resource (generation, load, and energy storage) interconnection applications and provide technical support to interconnection processes.
How you can make an impact:
- Develop collector systems and substations one-line diagrams, steady-state, short circuit and dynamic plant models as well as generation interconnection applications for solar, wind and battery energy storage projects.
- Provide technical support to generation/load interconnection processes with the transmission grid from the initial filing of the interconnection application all the way through commercial operations.
- Conduct electrical system design studies for wind, solar and battery energy storage projects and provide recommendations to meet the applicable codes and standards as well as the transmission and distribution service provider’s requirements

I- Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering; master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience
- Demonstrates high standards in delivering quality reports and products.
II- Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of programming software is a plus.
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
