Responsibilities
Join us in leading the change!
Manage a team of power system engineers performing modeling and NERC technical studies for clients. Responsibilities include client account management, supporting business development, project management, resource forecasting and utilization, and development of direct reports.
How you can make an impact:
· Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.
· Interact with Clients to seek input and address their needs and concerns with respect to the project(s) study scope of work.
· Direct and manage a team of electrical engineers to perform IBR modeling tasks and NERC PRC, FAC and MOD studies.
· Develop and grow the capabilities of engineers within the team and the larger organization.
· Perform advanced and specialized studies of the power grid utilizing industry standard analysis platforms such as PSS/e, PLSF, TSAT and PSCAD.
· Develop NERC technical study methodology and procedures for applicable NERC standards
· Lead process improvement efforts identifying opportunities to enhance organizational efficiencies focused on maximizing team bandwidth while ensuring quality and timeliness of client deliverables.
· Support business development activities including development of RFP responses & scope of work statements for clients, outlining EPE deliverables and projected completion dates.
Qualifications
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:
· Proficient with at least one of the power system analysis software: PSSE, PSCAD, TSAT and PSLF
· Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.
· Minimum 10 years (in excess of degree requirements) * of working experience in the power system industry with at least 2 years of working in a supervisory role.
· Proven knowledge of power system and IBR modeling
· Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.
· Have high standards on producing quality reports and products that he/she shall own with pride.

Location: Remote US or Canada
Travel: Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
